Immaculate Hohner model HP112 upright piano for sale. 112cm high, 88 keys (full size). Shiny Mahongany polyester finish.

Lovely bright sounding with a fantastic weighted action, medium weight. Perfect for beginners or just as good for more advanced players.

New in 1993 or thereabouts. Good quality piano with solid Sitka spruce soundboard. No faults whatever. Also has third quiet practice pedal so you dont annoy the neighbours at night. Matching adjustable stool not included but can be negiotiated for (£35).

Knight K10 Upright piano for sale – immaculate

I am selling my upright pianos. This one is the famous K10 model of Knight which are a teachers and musicians favourite. They have a special double iron frame and are specially built to withstand extremes of heat, dryness, humidity and central heating.

Its serial number is 55840 so was made in the mid 70s which was a prime era for this top British maker. The case is in very good condition (as is the whole piano in general which can be seen from the photos) and has a lovely light Teak colour although im not sure exactly what wood it is.

It has a nice action and a fairly bright but singing tone. Three pedals including a ‘Practice’ pedal so you can play at night without annoying the neighbours.
The piano is fairly in tune but could do with a tune up which i can arrange. These were some of the finest uprights in their day and cost around £2000 if you but them secondhand in a shop today especially in this condition.

The piano is located in North London if you are interested in coming to try it out. I am a piano teacher and can offer some free piano lessons with the piano if you are local enough. Lovely upright piano for sale. It has been well looked after, but as it is being played less and less, we need to sell for the space.

The piano is from ‘Harper of London’ (Harper Piano Co. Ltd, Holloway, London) and although the date of manufacture is not written on the piano, it probably dates from somewhere around 1910-1930s (from information I have been able to compile on the web).

Apart from a few scratches, a slight mark on the bottom of the right leg and a slight tear in the backing material, the piano is in very good condition. ALL the keys are in good working order, and the pedals all work well. The piano plays very nicely.

The dimensions are 55″ (length) x 46″ (width) x “47″ depth.

Please note that the buyer will need to collect.

Welmar Upright Piano

Little upright with a big sound from the renowned British makers. Classic Mahogany casing. Has been looked after and serviced regularly and was in the same family since new before i owned it. Serial number dates it to around the 70s which was a good era for this brand.

Has a nice sweet mellow treble reminiscent of Bluthner who i believe owned Welmar. Hammers in great condition as you can see from the photos. Only 104cm high, 142cm wide and 49cm deep so very compact and will fit into the smallest of spaces but has a great sound nonetheless. Full size keyboard with 88 keys. Action nice and firm and plays well.

The piano was retuned only last month. The tuner noted there had been a repair to the bridge in the past which causes a faint metallic ringing sound when some of the notes are pressed firmly but this can be remedied.

Come and try it out for yourself if interested suits all levels and is a good piano. I can offer a full refund if you are not fully satisfied with this piano upto 30 days after purchase.
