If you advertise your piano or keyboard on this site and follow the tips below you can be guaranteed a good position in major search engines like Google and Yahoo.

This means that more people will see your piano, and you are much more likely to sell it.

If you follow these tips below it is quite likely that your listing will show up on page one in Google (usually in a top 5 position) in the space of a week!

If you are uploading photos to your listing, make sure your filename is descriptive. eg – rather than “DSC00001″ change the filename to something like – “yamaha-upright-piano-manchester”. Search engines use image titles to identify websites.

Think carefully about the ad title. Rather than “piano for sale” use something that people would be more likely to search for like -”Black Yamaha U1 Upright Piano”.

I know it’s stating the obvious, but in the description field try to add as much as possible. Describe the colour, dimensions, as much detail as you can. This gives the search engine more to grab.

The section marked “Tags” is very useful. Use a few keywords to best describe the piano/keyboard (seperate with commas) eg – “yamaha, black, upright, u1″

Finally, when your ad has been submitted, In the listing you will see several tabs marked “Share this Ad”. This gives you the chance to post your ad on some of the worlds biggest social media websites such as Facebook. Click on as many of the links as you like. You will have to fill out a short form with each site, but it is well worth the couple of minutes it will take. Especially if you are serious about selling.
