Steinway Upright Piano Model V No 279484 (1935)
£6,500
Description
This piano is overstrung with an underdamper action, the design being similar to a modern Steinway.
The tone is rich and sonorous, and the action feels very responsive to nuances of touch and expression. This is one of the best pianos I have owned.
The hammer felts have been refaced.
The Sapele Mahogany case has been re-French Polished to a high standard. Ivory/Ebony keys.
It can be viewed/played at Stephen Brandon Pianos in York.
